NASA Halts Plans on Peraton $1.8 Billion Space Network Recompete

Vendors following the recompete of Peraton Holdings’ $1.8 billion near space network operations contract will have to sit tight following NASA’s announcement it had canceled the second part of the anticipated solicitation and is reconsidering its acquisition strategy on the first.

The June 10 special notice for NASA’s Space Exploration Network Service and Evolution (SENSE) opportunity will change the business plans of space IT companies that received confirmation from NASA three weeks ago that the acquisition was proceeding.
