4th Circuit Keeps Pause on Trump Obamacare Provision in Place

A federal appeals court declined to lift a lower court’s pause of the Trump administration’s rule loosening actuarial parameters on the Affordable Care Act exchanges.

In a brief order, a three-judge panel of the US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit on Thursday denied the administration’s request to overturn the US District Court for the District of Maryland’s order that had put on hold a provision of the rule while the litigation plays out.
