ALN Medical Management LLC would pay $4 million to settle a lawsuit alleging it negligently failed to protect the personal information of nearly 2 million people in a 2024 data breach, under a proposed deal initially approved in federal court.
Class members would be eligible for reimbursement of up to $5,000 in documented losses related to the breach, or an alternate cash payment estimated at around $50, according to the plaintiffs’ motion for preliminary settlement approval filed in the US District Court for the District of Nebraska.
