Expand Energy to Invest $300 Million in Added Gas Production

The largest US producer of natural gas is investing $300 million in bolstering capacity as prices finally climb.

Expand Energy Corp. will use the money to build out about 300 million cubic feet per day of additional production capacity by 2026, executives said in a quarterly call with analysts. The company expects to end March with around 7 billion cubic feet per day of production, up from just over 6.4 bcf per day at the end of December.
