FDA Publishes Draft Guidance With Clinical Trial Recommendations

The Food and Drug Administration has released updated recommendations for good clinical practices, according to a Tuesday news release.

The draft guidance aims to modernize the design and conduct of clinical trials without compromising data integrity or participant protections, the FDA said. It also would allow for more efficient clinical trials that would help medical product development, the agency said.

The draft guidance would update the existing guidance once finalized, according to the FDA.
