Hanover Unit, Chicago Anatomical Group Toss Cadaver Abuse Case

A Hanover Insurance Group Inc. unit and a Chicago organization that facilitates human body donations to medical schools agreed to drop a dispute over coverage for litigation alleging an employee used a severed head to intimidate a colleague.

All claims in the insurance case were fully settled, Hanover Insurance Co. and the Anatomical Gift Association of Illinois said in a Wednesday filing in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. The matter was dismissed with prejudice.
