Judge Cuts Trump HHS Teen Pregnancy Prevention Grant Conditions

A federal judge tossed federal requirements for teen pregnancy prevention program grant recipients after finding its details were “based solely on ideological and political preferences contrived out of thin air with inspiration derived” from executive orders involving transgender care.

Judge Beryl Howell of the US District Court for the District of Columbia on Tuesday granted a request from Planned Parenthood affiliates to vacate US Department of Health and Human Services guidance from July calling on grant recipients to revise programming that recognizes more than two sexes and goes against parents’ religious views.
