New Fortress Energy Is in Talks to Buy LNG From Global Suppliers

Traders from New Fortress Energy Inc. are in discussions to buy more liquefied natural gas cargoes for their import terminals in the Americas, according to people familiar with the matter.

The talks were held during the Gastech 2025 conference in Milan last week, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the discussions were private.

A spokesperson for New Fortress, owned by billionaire Wes Edens, didn’t provide comment.
