Nevada can enforce a state law that requires a doctor to notify a minor’s parents before performing an abortion, a federal judge said, lifting a previous order that blocked the statute.
The state can begin enforcing the parental notification law, along with an alternative judicial bypass provision, on April 30, Judge Anne R. Traum, of the US District Court for the District of Nevada, said Monday.
