RFK Jr. Health Panel to Focus on Chronic Disease, Cutting Costs

A new healthcare advisory committee convened by US Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. held its first meeting Monday, promising to identify ways to improve chronic disease outcomes, cut regulations, and reduce costs across the Medicare and Medicaid programs.

The Healthcare Advisory Committee will meet quarterly to identify issues, review research, and deliver actionable insights for policymakers. The committee plans to break up into six working groups consisting of experts in relevant policy areas.
