McDonald’s, Franchiser Defeat Claims in Black Executive Bias Row

McDonald’s Corp. defeated all claims in two Black former executives’ employment bias lawsuit, while McDonald’s USA LLC fought off some of the duo’s race bias and retaliation allegations.

The pair of ex-executives lack sufficient evidence to get their claims against the fast food giant in front of a jury, the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois said, ending their six-year quest to hold parent McDonald’s Corp. liable for harms they allegedly suffered while working for subsidiary McDonald’s USA.
