An additional 3,000 pharmacy and lab technicians at Kaiser Permanente facilities will walk off the job Monday in an escalation of an ongoing health-care strike over alleged unfair labor practices.
The United Food and Commercial Workers Union said that workers at dozens of locations in southern California will join 31,000 nurses and other health-care professionals who have been striking since Jan. 26.
