ADM Names Cargill’s Nichol as New Chief Accounting Officer (1)

Archer-Daniels-Midland Co., which has been working to regain investor confidence in the wake of an accounting scandal, tapped Carrie Nichol of rival Cargill Inc. as chief accounting officer.

Nichol, who has held the same position at Cargill, will start March 1 and report to Chief Financial Officer Monish Patolawala, the commodity-trading giant said in a statement Wednesday.
