Former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and two of his top aides won their bid to dismiss a former state employee’s discrimination and retaliation suit.

This suit follows New York Attorney General Letitia James’ report on Cuomo’s alleged sexual harassment that led to his 2021 resignation. An accuser named Trooper 1—who worked in the former governor’s Protective Service Unit—is included in James’ report, and filed a separate suit against Cuomo, his top aides, and the New York State Police, asserting claims of discrimination and retaliation in violation of Title VII, New York State Human Rights Law, and New York City ...
