DOJ Says Cherfilus-McCormick Used Stolen Funds for Her Campaign

The Department of Justice announces that a Miami federal grand jury has indicted Democratic Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick for allegedly stealing $5 million in federal disaster funds and using the money in support of her 2021 congressional campaign.
