A former Cincinnati-area judge’s law license was indefinitely suspended by the Ohio Supreme Court on Tuesday, nine years after a jury found her guilty of illegally helping her brother when he was about to be fired from a juvenile detention center.
The justices, however, gave Tracie M. Hunter credit for the nine years that her license was suspended on an interim basis following her felony conviction. That means she can immediately apply to have it reinstated, since Ohio law allows suspended attorneys to pursue reinstatement after two years in most cases.
