The US Department of Health and Human Services has released a cybersecurity implementation guide to help both the public and private health care sectors prevent cybersecurity incidents, according to the ASPR Wednesday.
The guide, jointly developed by HHS Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response and the Health Sector Coordinating Council Cybersecurity Working Group, provides steps that health care organizations can take to manage cyber risks to their information technology systems, said the agency.
