Chinese Companies Win Lower U.S. Duties on Solar Power Products

A number of Chinese companies won lower U.S. duties on certain solar power goods, a federal court affirmed July 25.

The U.S. maintains antidumping duties on Chinese crystalline silicon photovoltaic products, which are solar modules, laminates, and panels. The U.S. imported an estimated $1.5 billion worth of these products from China in 2013, before the duties were put in place, according to the Commerce Department.
