Court Rejects Antidumping Duty Rate on The Navigator Co.'s Paper

The Commerce Department must reconsider the duty margin on certain paper exported from Portugal by The Navigator Co. SA, the U.S. Court of International Trade ruled.

The U.S. maintains antidumping duties on imports from Portugal of certain uncoated paper, which is used for office copy and printer paper, books, business forms, instruction manuals, inserts, fliers, brochures, and maps. Commerce completed a periodic duty review, covering imports of the paper that entered the U.S. between August 2015 and February 2017. The department originally calculated a dumping margin of 37.34% for The Navigator Co.
