Dutch PM Urges Diplomatic Efforts to Resolve US Tariff Threats

Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof advocated for finding a diplomatic solution to resolve a dispute over additional tariffs that US president Donald Trump threatened to impose on several European countries if he can’t take over control of Greenland.

The US already has a military base in Greenland and could work together with European countries to expand defense capabilities in the region, Schoof told Bloomberg TV’s Annmarie Hordern at the World Economic Forum in Davos on Wednesday.
