President Donald Trump’s tariffs and trade deals are having a rough week — in the heart of Washington and far from it, too.

On Thursday, thousands of Indian farmers gathered in the northern state of Punjab and around New Delhi to demonstrate against the country’s framework trade pact with the US. Protesters say it could hurt domestic agriculture.
