Mexico Agriculture Minister Replaced Ahead of USMCA Trade Review

Mexican Agriculture Minister Julio Berdegue was replaced by an official focused on rural development in another shakeup of President Claudia Sheinbaum’s cabinet.

Sheinbaum’s office announced the naming of Columba Lopez Gutierrez, who was working on inclusion and development in the Welfare Ministry, as the new minister in a statement.
