Omani Nail Producer Can Move Forward With Duty Challenge

Oman Fasteners LLC will be able to move forward with its challenge to the results of a U.S. duty review on steel nails from Oman, a federal court ruled.

The Commerce Department conducted a periodic antidumping duty review of Omani steel nails that entered the U.S. between July 2016 and June 2017. It assigned Oman Fasteners a 0 percent duty rate.

Although its nails won’t face duties, Oman Fasteners challenged several aspects of Commerce’s calculations in the U.S. Court of International Trade.
