Qatar Advises Caution for LNG Vessels Using Hormuz Strait (1)

Qatar has asked liquefied natural gas vessels to wait outside the Strait of Hormuz until they’re ready to load amid escalating tensionsin the region, according to a person with direct knowledge of the matter.

The precautionary order, which advises vessels to avoid the Persian Gulf until a day before loading, probably won’t delay shipments, the person said, asking not to be identified as the information was not made public. European natural gas rose as much as 4.8%.
