Rizal Bank to Focus on Consumer Loans Amid Tariff Uncertainties

Rizal Commercial Banking Corp., the Philippines’ sixth largest lender, sees growth in its consumer credit business that could offset tariff-induced weakness among corporate clients.

Rizal Bank, or RCBC, is well positioned to take advantage of the nation’s robust domestic consumer market, Reginaldo Anthony Cariaso, Rizal Bank’s new president and chief executive officer, said in a Friday interview in his Makati City office.
