The US Supreme Court is planning arguments for early November in a case to decide whether the bulk of President Donald Trump’s second-term tariffs are legal.

That fast-tracked schedule at the nation’s high court suggests the justices want to resolve it quickly, according to reporting by Bloomberg’s Greg Stohr and Zoe Tillman in Washington.

A speedy resolution will be key for businesses, consumers, financial markets and foreign governments, given all the uncertainty Trump’s so-called reciprocal tariffs have caused.
