U.S. Flooring Producers Sue for Higher Duties on Chinese Imports

A U.S. industry group is pushing for higher duties on certain imports of wood flooring from China, arguing to the U.S. Court of International Trade that the Commerce Department erred in calculating the production costs of these goods.

The U.S. imposes antidumping duties on multilayered wood flooring from China. The U.S. imported nearly $346 million worth of this flooring from China in 2016, according to a report from the International Trade Commission.
