The UK opened a one-month consultation with businesses on how to craft a response to the Trump administration’s reciprocal tariffs.
Business and Trade Secretary Jonathan Reynolds said Thursday the government wants information from UK companies on the average value of their US imports, the impact they would feel from possible UK tariffs, and how they would adjust to such tariffs. UK tariffs are a last resort and other options remain open, Reynolds’ department said.
