Volvo Unveils Electric SUV as Trump Shakes Up Global Trade Rules

Volvo Car AB unwrapped its first fully electric mid-size SUV as the automaker grapples with regulatory and tariff uncertainty in the US, one of its key sales markets.

The manufacturer revealed the EX60 on Wednesday near Stockholm with a pledge to manufacture the vehicle in Sweden for global shipments. The event coincided with President Donald Trump’s sudden reversal of his threat to impose new 10% duties on eight European countries including Sweden after reaching a deal regarding Greenland.
