Case: Copyrights/Summary Judgment (Fed. Cir.)

The Federal Circuit affirmed the decision of the Court of Federal Claims granting the U.S. government and ASM Research LLC summary judgment on HEALTHeSTATE LLC’s action for breach of contract and copyright infringement related to software. The appeals court said that the claims court didn’t err by finding that HEALTHeSTATE’s copyright registrations aren’t valid as a matter of law.
