The District of Connecticut granted in part and denied in part Learneo Inc.'s motion for summary judgment on Post University Inc.'s action for direct, contributory, and vicarious copyright infringement, violation of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, trademark infringement, false designation of origin, unfair trade practices, unjust enrichment, and unfair competition, related to Learno’s online platform for uploaded study materials. The court granted Learneo summary judgment on the claims for violation of the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act, unjust enrichment, and common law unfair competition, due to Copyright Act preemption.
