The Federal Circuit affirmed the decision of a federal district court in California denying Incstores LLC’s motion for attorneys’ fees in Parallax Group International LLC’s action for infringement of a patent directed to dual-color interlocking floor mats. The appeals court said that Parallax wasn’t liable for inequitable conduct, and that the circumstances don’t support an exceptional case finding.
