The Federal Circuit vacated and remanded in part and affirmed in part decisions of the Patent Trial and Appeal Board in Apple Inc.'s inter partes and post-grant reviews of MemoryWeb LLC’s patents that relate to methods for organizing, displaying, and navigating displays of digital imagery. The court affirmed the decisions of the board that claims of three patents and some claims of a fourth patent are unpatentable as obvious over prior art, and vacated and remanded the board’s ruling that Apple’s petition was insufficient as to some claims of the fourth patent.
