The Sixth Circuit denied an employee’s motion to stay pending appeal a federal district court in Michigan’s order granting a preliminary injunction allowing Lothamer Tax Resolution Inc., Lothamer Consulting Services LLC, and Lothamer Franchise Corporation to enforce the non-retention clause in the employee’s employment contract. The appeals court determined that the employee didn’t show a likelihood of success, harm to others, or that a stay is in the public interest.
