Deloitte Can’t Escape Trade Secrets Suit Over Vaccine Software

Deloitte Consulting LLP failed to convince a federal judge to dismiss the bulk of a trade secrets lawsuit accusing the company of stealing vaccine-tracking technology that generated at least $80 million in payments from the US Centers for Disease Control.

Judge P. Kevin Castel denied Deloitte’s bid to dismiss Multi-State Partnership for Prevention LLC’s statutory state and federal trade secrets claims because they sufficiently allege the features Deloitte misappropriated and how the consulting firm used them, according to a Tuesday opinion from the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
