Two former Massachusetts Appeals Court staffers must face allegations that they bullied and disparaged an ex-staff attorney, the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court held Thursday.
Kenneth Bresler, who worked at the Appeals Court from January 2019 through December 2020, claimed his supervisors maliciously campaigned against him, committing a tortious interference with his employment relationship with the court. He argued court officials at the time—including deputy chief staff attorney Lynn Muster, chief staff attorney Mary Bowe, and administrator Gina DeRossi—disparaged his ability to write, ultimately leading to his termination.
