The former chief judge of the US Patent and Trademark Office’s appeals board announced his departure from the agency Tuesday, marking the latest senior executive exit in the first year of President Donald Trump’s second administration.
Scott Boalick said he leaving the agency after 18 years of service in an email reviewed by Bloomberg Law.
“I am taking some time off to decide where the next chapter will lead,” he wrote.
