FTC Sues Reseller That Bypassed Taylor Swift Ticketmaster Limits

The FTC sued a Maryland-based ticket reseller for allegedly bypassing Ticketmaster’s purchase limits to buy hundreds of thousands of tickets and resell them at steep markups, including to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.

• FTC alleges Key Investment Group, doing business as Epic Seats, TotalTickets.com, and Totally Tix, bought about 380,000 tickets in just over a year from Ticketmaster for nearly $57 million, and resold a portion for about $64 million
