House Republicans Voice Strong Commitment to Kids’ Online Safety

House Republicans expressed strong commitments to pass bipartisan children’s online safety legislation after the party’s leaders punted on the issue last year.

“We’re going to have a bill this year that’s going to pass as soon as we can get everything we need together,” House Energy and Commerce Chair Brett Guthrie (R-Ky.) said Wednesday during a subcommittee hearing on protecting kids online.
