International Criminal Court Says It’s Contained Cyber Incident

The International Criminal Court contained a “sophisticated and targeted” cybersecurity incident that it first identified last week, the organization said in a statement Monday.

The Hague, Netherlands-based tribunal said it the incident was swiftly discovered and contained through its alert mechanisms, and it is now working to assess the impact and mitigate any potential effects. The ICC didn’t provide further details about the incident in its statement.

The court investigates and tries individuals suspected of crimes against humanity, such as genocide and war crimes.
