Motorsport.tv Settles Video-Privacy Suit Over Meta Info Sharing

Motorport.tv Digital LLC has reached a settlement of a proposed class action alleging it shared the video-watching histories of subscribers with Meta Platforms Inc. in violation of the Video Privacy Protection Act.

Judge Cecilia M. Altonaga of the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida dismissed the lawsuit in a Wednesday order, two months after lead plaintiff Alan Guereca filed a notice of settlement in the case.
