Musk’s X Corp. Owes Another $67 Million in VidStream Patent Suit

X Corp. owes VidStream LLC $67 million in pre-judgment interest, on top of a nine-figure damages award, after a Texas federal judge finalized the loss for Elon Musk’s social media company in a streaming-media patent dispute.

Senior Judge David C. Godbey ordered X to pay $105 million in damages, $67 million in pre-judgment interest from March 2015 to May 2025, and post-judgment interest at an annual rate of 3.66%, in a final judgment entered Tuesday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
