O’Melveny Recruits Meghan McElvy as Energy Litigation Partner

Meghan McElvy joined O’Melveny as a partner in its general litigation practice group and energy industry group in Houston, the firm announced Tuesday.

McElvy represents energy clients in high-stakes cases and focuses her practice on legal and operational issues arising from shale and drilling development, including joint operating agreements, royalty obligations, and disputes involving oil and gas leases. She also advises midstream, renewable energy, and LNG companies, the firm said.

She joins from Bradley Arant Boult Cummings.
