TCL Expands Samsung OLED Patent Row With Another Texas Suit (1)

A TCL China Star Optoelectronics Technology Co. unit lobbed patent infringement allegations against Samsung Electronics Co., Walmart Inc., and Best Buy Co. over products containing OLED display panels made by the Korean giant.

Wuhan China Star Optoelectronics Semiconductor Display Technology Co.’s complaint targets display panels inside computers, wearable devices, and Google Pixel smartphones. CSOSDT said Samsung, Walmart, and Best Buy infringed US Patent Nos. 12,133,429, 11,957,031 and 11,257,891, which protect improvements to display devices and panels.
