USDA Workers Must Use Own Names in Suit Over Trump’s DEI Order

US Department of Agriculture employees must use their own names when alleging they were wrongly placed on administrative leave pursuant to President Donald Trump’s executive order designed to dismantle diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the government.

They wanted to proceed pseudonymously because they feared being outed as having worked on DEI programs will damage their professional prospects. But that information “is not sensitive, Plaintiffs have not alleged credible fear of physical or mental harm, and they are adults,” Chief Judge James E. Boasberg said Thursday for the US District Court for the District of Columbia.
