WilmerHale Nabs Rubio Adviser, Trump-Vance Alum for Defense Work

WilmerHale re-hired Marik String, a former Marco Rubio adviser who also served on the Trump-Vance transition, as the firm aims to boost its defense, national security and government contracts practice.

String, a US Navy Reserve officer who practiced at WilmerHale between 2006 and 2013, said he will work in both the Washington and London. He said he considers the firm a “unique platform” because of its focus on national security and international practices.
