Montana law firm Crowley Fleck PLLP has reached an apparent settlement of a case it brought against two private equity principals in Delaware seeking to get out ahead of legal malpractice claims they threatened to file over the firm’s work for an oilfield construction company.
The two sides docketed a joint notice in Delaware Chancery Court indicating that Crowley Fleck had withdrawn its bid for an injunction barring a malpractice lawsuit by Travis Joyner and Craig Hurlbert, energy company executives who now lead Montana-based BrightMark Partners LLC.
