Rapper and producer 50 Cent failed to convince a California federal judge to block the release of a horror movie he says was promoted using his name in violation of his rights.

Curtis Jackson III—50 Cent’s legal name—failed to demonstrate a sufficient likelihood of success, precluding a preliminary injunction blocking the release of “Skill House,” Judge Hernan D.
