The Center for Environment Health dropped its lawsuit alleging a fertilizer company failed to tell the EPA about billions of pounds of imported chemicals.
The environmental organization on Thursday notified the US District Court for the District of Columbia that it was voluntarily dismissing its allegations against Eurochem North America Corp. with prejudice.
The citizen enforcement suit asked the court to order Eurochem to comply with a Toxic Substances Control Act rule by reporting to the Environmental Protection Agency billions of pounds of fertilizer chemicals the company allegedly imported in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019.
