BioTek Labs, Whistleblower Resolve Allergy Testing Kickback Suit

BioTek Labs LLC settled a whistleblower’s lawsuit alleging the allergy equipment provider submitted kickback-tainted claims to federal health-care programs for reimbursement in violation of the False Claims Act.

Beverly Marcus, BioTek, and other defendants filed Wednesday a joint notice of dismissal with the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida, stating that they reached a settlement. Terms of that agreement weren’t made available, and the parties didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
